I was pleasantly surprised that in the fifth session I noticed changes not only in the career area, but also in other areas of life. This included family, finding balance, attitude to discipline, self-esteem and communication.
The sessions with Zhenya helped me a lot to get through the next stage of uncertainty in my career development. Openness, lack of even a hint of judgment and Zhenya's background, which is somewhat similar to mine, helped to make the sessions as comfortable and effective for me as possible.
Internally defining my personal priorities feels like it has put my career and self-esteem on such solid pillars, instead of a vague soupy mishmash. This certainty helps me prioritize in the moment and look boldly into the future, checking career opportunities/perspectives against my personal values.
And just my 5 highlighted values from the 5 stories became the perfect solutions to my own goal for the session - to find 5 key qualities of myself at the moment. The puzzle is complete, the goal is achieved!
I really enjoy coaching and like Zhenya's approach - lots of questions, a structured approach to the session, bringing reflection back to the client, reminding them of important thoughts spoken during the session.
Probably the coolest realization of the group session was that I am not alone. That even those who I see as cool, confident, and accomplished just like me have doubts and worries.
I have clearly articulated my values and also created a hierarchy. Now it is much easier to orient myself when choosing a career path.
I learned one important personal value that I hadn't thought about before, and now I can draw on it when choosing a job or in my daily routine.
In the month that followed, with Zhenya's help, I better understood my values, found some potentially interesting industries and started to explore them.
I liked the trusting atmosphere created by Evgeniya, which made me feel comfortable to share my views and feelings. In the future, I would like to have 1:1 coaching with Evgeniya.
